Buying, selling & agents
Refer to our advice in the Buyer Frequently Asked Questions and Seller Frequently Asked Questions in our Conveyancing Services section, to find out answers to the most common questions people have when they are buying or selling real estate.
We even have a section of Tips for Buyers and Tips for Sellers.
Get Legal Advice Before You Sign
If you are a buyer, we recommend that you get legal advice on a contract before you sign it just to make sure that the terms of the contract are suitable for your circumstances.
Even if you are a seller, there may be times when you just aren’t sure about a clause in your contract.
Please feel free to seek our advice or have your Agent do so to make sure the wording used gives you the rights or protections that you need.
Our Conveyancing Services
Our Registered Conveyancer has over 16 years of conveyancing experience and would be pleased to receive instructions to conduct the conveyancing of the property that you are buying or selling.
You can provide us with instructions for your conveyancing by contacting us, and by advising the Agent that you wish them to instruct us as your conveyancer.
As soon as we receive your instructions, we will make initial contact with you to answer any questions that you may have and to let you know when we will have documents ready for you to sign.
We can arrange to post the documents to you if necessary or otherwise you can come into our office to sign.
Our Legal Services
If anything goes wrong with your transaction, such as the other party defaulting on the contract, our lawyers are ready to provide you with the urgent legal assistance that you need in those circumstances to hold the defaulting party accountable and to get your matter back on track.
What If The Property Is Not Near Kadina Or I Don’t Live Near Kadina?
We can provide you with conveyancing services irrespective of where you live or where the property is, as long as the property that is being transferred is in South Australia.
If distance prevents you from coming to our office to sign, we can post any documents that you need to sign.
The only thing that you will need to do for us if you don’t come to our office to sign, is to visit your local Post Office to complete a verification of identity (which we do in house if you come to our office).
This is a required part of a conveyancing transaction in South Australia and can’t be avoided.
If you verify your identity in this fashion, there will be a small extra cost involved which we can advise you of at the time of your transaction if you intend on verifying your identity in this way.
How we can help
Whether you’re buying or selling through an Agent, you may have been through an emotional roller coaster ride of offers being rejected before you have reached what appears to be the successful sale or purchase of a property.
