We want you to know that you are not starting over. Mildwaters Byrth Lawyers & Conveyancers has been chosen by Doug Reed himself as the firm to receive Germein Reed’s files and clients. That decision was not made lightly, and it reflects a long professional relationship built on shared values and mutual respect. Kylie Mildwaters began her legal career at Germein Reed in 1996, so the connection between our two firms runs deep. Some familiar faces from the Germein Reed team will also be joining us, which means you may already recognise people who understand your circumstances.

What Happens With Your Files

All current Germein Reed files, continuing matters and safe custody document holdings will transition across to Mildwaters Byrth. If you hold documents in safe custody at Germein Reed and would prefer to collect them rather than have them transfer, please contact Germein Reed before 31 March 2026 to make arrangements. After that date, the Germein Reed phone line will remain monitored with a message facility, so you can still reach someone to make arrangements if you need to.
